Find a community close to home

Every Ard community begins with families who believe children deserve a more personal, meaningful way to learn.

Small, local and connected to the neighbourhood around them, Ard communities bring children together in spaces where everyone is known.

Find an upcoming community near you, or help bring Ard to your city.

Our communities

Growing across the Global South

Ard is beginning in Islamabad.

Our hope is to see small communities take root in cities across the Global South, connected to one another, so children can visit, exchange and learn from communities far from their own.

Each community stays small, with 40 to 60 children.

Stay with us as this grows.

How Ard communities work

Every Ard community is a parent cooperative.

Families come together around a shared vision, with one family taking the lead in bringing the community to life.

Parents are active participants too, contributing their skills, accompanying trips and helping bring learning experiences to life.

Ard provides the learning programme, trained learning facilitators, immersion themes, a network of practising coaches and ongoing support.

Each community also runs on Dareecha, Ard’s learning platform.

Through Dareecha, families and children can follow learning progress, receive updates, join workshops and connect with other communities.

Every community develops its own character while sharing the same educational foundations.

Built by families. Supported by Ard.

Bring Ard to your city

A community begins with a few families

A community begins with a few families

A community begins with a few families

Perhaps you already know families who share your hopes for a different kind of education.

You believe in a smaller learning community, close to home, where children can grow together and be known.

Ard exists to help bring that possibility to life.

If you and a few families in your neighbourhood or city would like to establish an Ard community, we’d love to hear from you.

Registrations for establishing communities in other cities open in autumn 2027. Until then, you can join the waiting list to express your interest.
